Do NOT mention that you got their "number" or "ID".
No toxicity or creating drama OOC.
Do not go into someones stream to be toxic, or make toxic remarks towards someone you have encountered in the server.
This includes attempts to begin a ticket war after learning someone has reported you. There is a zero-tolerance policy towards revenge tickets. If it is enough to make a ticket about after you learn you have been reported, it should be important enough to report right away.

GENERAL SERVER RULES
Metagaming is a punishable offense.
Metagaming is using outside information that your character would not know in-city. If you did not learn the information in-city, do not use it in-city.
This includes, but is not limited to, information gained through: Discord messages, voice calls, streams (Twitch, Kick, Discord, Youtube, TikTok, etc.), or any other outside form of communication that is not explicity on the server.
Using outside forms of communication (Discord calls, Discord messages, etc.) to relay information is not permitted and will be punished. While in-city, you must only communicate to others through various ways in-city.
Harassment is not allowed in any form—zero tolerance.
This includes repetitive aggressive pressure or intimidation that borders being OOC.
This includes sexual harrassment.
This includes persistent messages sent to a player through Discord or any other media.
Do not directly message other players out of character without prior consent.
If a person asks that you do not DM them, respect their wishes.
Failure to respect their wishes—or any attempt to pressure, intimidate, or make them uncomfortable—will result in immediate disciplinary action.
This includes bringing it up in character (e.g., referencing "emails" that were not replied to).
Persistent or unwanted messages are harassment and will be met with disciplinary action.
Roleplay should be completely IC. There should be no RP bleed.
This includes switching characters to reply to an in-city social media post that was posted while you were not on that character.
Staff is not here to mediate personal disagreements between players.
Do not voice ID.
If someone is wearing a mask, you must find another way to identify that person.
Everyone is not able to or comfortable changing their voice. If they say that they are not who you insist they are, you must move on.
This includes police situations; police must identify suspected individuals by means other than their voice.
If you are in a scene and the server crashes or is restarting, you must return to the scene.
This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving EMS, PD, and hostage situations.
Refrain from referencing real-life events while in the city. This is to ensure an enjoyable environment for all, as roleplay is an escape from the stresses of day-to-day life for some.
Do not interject yourself or your group into an ongoing scene.
Do not transfer funds or items between your own characters, or use a middle man to do so.
Do not use public channels as a means of discussing results of tickets or ban. Open a ticket for any further concerns.
Remain cordial towards staff and other members of the community.
ROLEPLAY RULES
Los Santos Medical Center (LSMC) is considered a green-zone unless proper intiation has taken place before hand. You may not kidnap, rob, or assault someone on the premises of LSMC. Camping around LSMC or using LSMC as a place to hide or flee from confrontation is prohibited.
Random Deathmatch (RDM) is prohibited. There must be proper verbal initiation before engaging in hostile roleplay towards and individual or a group.
Beef over in-character social media is not sufficient build up to a shootout. There must be sufficient face to face verbal initiation.
You are permitted to initiate an attack or defend yourself if another player tries to harm you, damage your property, ignores your threats and attempts to resist, or takes hostile action towards you.
Ambushes are allowed, but it is case-by-case and must be ONLY done with the individuals from your group who were at the original scene.
Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) is prohibited.
You may not use a vehicle to attack another pedestrian player unless it is life or death on your part.
You may not ram another vehicle without initiation.
You must prioritize their character's life, meaning that you should take realistic precautions and avoid situations that would knowingly put your character's life at unnecessary risk.
If someone is pointing a gun at your head, whether your character is aware or not, you must comply with the demands of the initiating party.
As an individual, if you attempt to rob or act as an aggressor toward any other individual that is “flagged” with their faction identifier it can be considered NVL depending on RP scenario buildup.
In situations where you are outnumbered, you must value your life and comply with the group's demands. This does not mean that you cannot try to escape if the situation allows and if you can do so in a realistic manner.
This does not mean you should try to run if someone is holding a gun to your head.
You may attempt to escape in a vehicle IF you were already seated in the vehicle before being held at gunpoint. This does not mean they will not shoot you.
Once you respawn at Los Santos Medical Center, meaning that you "see the light" or held "E", your memory of the situation that led to you being downed is wiped. You will forget everything that happened immediately before respawning at LSMC. There are exceptions to this rule, however, such as:
Someone taking you to an NPC to be healed.
Revival by EMS.
If there are survivors from the situation, they may refresh your memory. However, they must not have been downed themselves at any time.
You must refrain from respawning while the situation is happening around you.
You may wait up to 20 minutes before respawning.
You must not disconnect or "take a flight" while you are involved with an active scene, whether or not there could be in-character consequences for your character.
In the event of a crash or disconnection, you must reconnect as soon as possible and return to the scene where you crashed.
You must wait a minimum of 15 minutes after participating in any conflict roleplay before disconnecting.
Powergaming is the act of using or roleplaying with mechanics that would give you an advantage over a situation in any way.
Using emotes to access locked doors or locations that you would not have access to is powergaming.
Forcing players into a situation with no choice, such as using "/me" to force an outcome, is powergaming.
Unnecessarily escorting, carrying, or cuffing someone to gain an advantage over a player who is not in a downed state is powergaming.
Using a taser on someone and switching to a gun to shoot them while they are being shocked is powergaming.
Communicating with other players while flat-backed.
If a player is reported to be powergaming, and the event is reported, staff will move forward at their discretion.
Exploiting refers to any action that gives a player an unintended advantage or that allows them to perform actions in ways that are not intended.
Exploiting can result in severe in-game and out-of-game consequences for players and their groups. These include, but are not limited to: full inventory, trunk and stash wipes; full reset of a players XP; character deletion/force permadeath; loss of whitelist for a group; loss of whitelist for a player; and temporary and/or permanent bans from the server.
Exploiting is a bannable offense. If you find an exploit, report it.
CRIMINAL RULES
Any criminal activity should be done with intent.
Keep in mind that everyone is here to have fun, and try to enable enjoyable experiences through your roleplay.
Players must wait for police to arrive for at least 5 minutes after committing a store robbery do not leave prior or you will be banned.
Cop-baiting is not tolerated.
Cop-baiting is the attempt of drawing attention to yourself with the sole intent of getting police attention. This includes, but is not limited to, speeding or driving recklessly, unnecessary 911 calls, and firing a weapon to draw police to your location.
A minimum of 60 minutes should be waited out before retaliation.
This goes into effect after you or a member of your group is robbed, ambushed, or any other hostile scenario occurs.
If you go down and "see the light", refer back to the New Life Rule above.
Do not chain rob stores or other players.
The maximum number of players who may be involved in a criminal activity is 5.
This goes for, but is not limited to, robberies and heists.
This also includes any interceptor vehicles on the criminals side.
There are circumstantial cases where there is no limit, such as when your group is under attack by another group, or the scene is initiated on your turf.
You must wait 30 minutes between robberies (start of robbery is start of timer).
Do not commit any major crimes 30 minutes before or after server restarts.
LSPD is allowed to respond to criminals with the use of force the criminals show.
This goes for shooting, ramming vehicles, and using interceptor vehicles.
They are allowed to shoot out tires of interceptor vehicles if interfering with a chase.
There must be sufficient roleplay and build-up before attempting to rob another player.
You may not aimlessly rob players for financial or personal gain.
This rule includes trunks and gloveboxes.
Do not pocket wipe.
Pocket wiping is the act of taking all or most of a players inventory.
Do not rob cops for the sole purpose of stealing their equipment.
There must be sufficient roleplay build up before attempting to rob a police officer.
You may not take all of their police issued equipment.
Do not rob individuals downed from a scene that you were not a part of.
Do not steal items unrelated to the purpose of the robbery, such as food and water.
The amount of hostages may exceed the group size by one.
This means that if there are four people in your group, you may hold up to five players hostage.
When taking a player hostage, you and your group must step out of the vehicle with weapons drawn.
Asking a player to get into the car and act as a hostage is low-quality roleplay and is not encouraged. If attempts are made this way, and the player says "no", you may not attempt to reengage with weapons and demand they get into the vehicle. You politely asked, they said no - this means you will have to look elsewhere for a hostage.
You must put effort into taking a hostage.
You may not have a player hostage for more than 30 minutes, or the time of one robbery or heist.
There must be a valid roleplay reason for taking someone hostage.
Remember that this is also their roleplay experience as much as it is yours, make it enjoyable for all parties.
EMS and PD may not be taken hostage while on-duty.
This does not include coercion into vehicles. If EMS or PD are coerced into a vehicle while on duty, without the use of threats, weapons, or force, they may be used as a hostage.
Exceptions may be made to this rule is when there has been sufficient roleplay build up. Regardless of the build up, you may not take EMS or PD hostage while they are in their place of work, such as any hospital or police station.
Hostages may not be taken from government buildings, barber shops, or clothing shops.
Your group and yourself may not take the same person hostage within a 24 hour period.
You may not use a fake hostage.
You may not swap to a different character to allow for your group to have a hostage. This rule solely accounts for intentional character swaps.
This is considered low-quality roleplay and is not encouraged.
If attempts to do so are discovered, disciplinary action will be taken against yourself and/or your group.
Once you leave an active scene, you may not return until the situation has resolved.
Do not leave the scene to stock up on supplies, such as ammo, equipment, bandages, food, or water.
Do not leave the scene for medical treatment and return.
Minor levels of corruption are permitted within the police and is dealt with internally within the police command. This includes actions such as police brutality, information release, or other conduct unbecoming of a police officer.
Any actions involving the exchange of objects obtained by police officers (i.e. from the armory, evidence lockers, vehicles) are strictly prohibited and will be dealt with by server staff. Punishments may include, but are not limited to: a permanent blacklist from PD, loss of whitelist, and/or full inventory, trunk and stash wipes for entire whitelisted groups.
Any corrupt actions that benefit a criminal group a player is apart of on another character will result in severe consequences for the player and that group.
Judges and Public Lawyers (District Attorneys and Public Defenders) are prohibited from engaging in any form of corruption.
Private lawyers are not permitted to be criminals; however, they may engage in minor criminal activities, such as speeding.
In order to be recognized as a group, groups must have 4 members at a minimum.
This is the minimum to be recognized to be rewarded for exceptional roleplay.
This is the minimum to be considered to have access to the group leaders channel in Discord.
Whitelisted gangs do not exist in Solus or our community at this time.
We recognize gangs via roleplay, not via a role in Discord.
Every group lead will gain access to the group leaders channel in Discord. You must open a ticket to gain the role.
Exceptions may be made for the group leader role for exceptional roleplay.
ROLEPLAY QUALITY
Stay in character at all times in the server.
Treat your character as if they were a real person.
Actions have consequences, just as they would in real life.
Use interactions within the server to shape your character and their development.
Avoid a win mentality.
Situations aren't always meant to be won, sometimes they will be a way to allow your character to develop.
Taking an L in situations may lead to better roleplay opportunities down the road.
WHITELIST JOB ROLEPLAY
Any character employed with any whitelist job must remain in good standings within the community.
Taking any excessive amounts from a whitelist job's inventory (armory, medical cabinet, etc) is considered exploitation and will be dealt with in-character and out of character punishments.
Handing out any amount of police equipment/medical equipment to anyone is not a form of corruption. That is considered exploiting.
These rules are not the full extent of the PD SOPS. This is for transparency purposes for the rest of the community.
Tazers should not be deployed until at least a minute into a foot pursuit, unless the suspect is attempting to enter a swap car or a secondary getaway vehicle.
There should be a 20 second cooldown between taser deployments against any one individual.
